Ringo and the Roundheads taped a segment for the "CBS Early Morning Show" which will be broadcast Wednesday, June 29th. (HEY! It's another free concert for me.)
They began with "It Don't Come Easy" followed by a Ringo interview with CBS host Rene Syler.
She ACTUALLY ASKED "You wrote about love alot. What gives?"
HUH? WHO WROTE THESE QUESTIONS? Sadly, I'm sure he's had to put up with interviews like this for 40 years.
Ringo was in good humor throughout and even did an impromptu version of the Left Banke's "Just walk away Renee".
He sang and drummed to "Back Off Boogaloo" and "Choose Love" ending up with "With a Little Help From My Friends" and "Act Naturally."
Sid Bernstein was spotted in the crowd of about 150 people.
Unfortunately, the suits at CBS declared no flash photography so most of the photos didn't come out.
btw, just found out these photos will be used in the next issue of Beatlefan magazine (http://www.beatlefan.com/)
