Here are my picks for the All-Star Game this year…
I use the same parameters as Major League Baseball, notably it doesn’t matter where in the outfield someplays (3 starting rightfielders is fine), there must be a representative from each team.
Btw, I hate that there are 30 spots for each League on the All-Star roster. That means if you are a player in the 14 team American League you have a better shot of making it then in the 16 team National League. Unfortunately, guys like Pat Burrell and Chad Cordero had to make room for Preston Wilson and Derrek Turnbow, while in the American League, Paul Kordero lost out to the Royals' Mike Sweeney.
I also debated whether Chase Utley deserved the nomination over Jose Reyes.
